We are pleased to announce that Cheryl Johnson has joined Shiloh Industries, Inc. as Vice President, Purchasing. Cheryl joined Shiloh from Veoneer Brake Systems where she served as Vice President of Global Purchasing & Supplier Development.
Cheryl began her career in purchasing with Spartan Chemical in Toledo, OH in 1988. After developing her skills and career, Cheryl joined General Motors in 1997. Over the next 18-years, Cheryl progressed through a variety of key purchasing roles across a broad spectrum of GM that included exhaust, steering, powertrain, and electronics. In 2012, Cheryl moved into program purchasing first in Cadillac and later in Full Size Truck. In 2016, when Cheryl first joined Veoneer, she led purchasing for this new joint venture between Autoliv and Nissin Kogyo that would become Veoneer Brake Systems.
Cheryl brings vast purchasing experience to Shiloh, a strong global perspective and experience base, and the leadership skills required to organize and optimize Shiloh’s global purchasing footprint.
Cheryl holds a BS in Business Administration and Business Law from Bowling University and an MBA in Production, Procurement, & Supply Chain from Findlay College.
